Probe repaired

back, back, back from his magical journey
ok not so magical, putting the bottom of the conrod through the engine block is pretty severe. Couldn't even get money back for a change over engine.
So how does it compare to the WRX?
I don't like the driving position in the Probe. The seat base tilts back and makes is uncomfortable to reach the pedals when the seat is high, but I feel too low when the seat is low.
The car sways too much. Despite having Koni adjustable struts, quickly turning the wheel side to side, there is visible nose wobble. I feel like I'm in a boat.
Engine growls! Ok so the engine sounds pretty harmonic, it hits 3000 rpm and I think something is going to happen, but the car keeps growling, It feels like a bear thats on a leash. It keeps growling at me and I feel a bit intimedated, but it's not doing anything. Where as the WRX feels like a wasp, you look at it and listen to it and think there's nothing there, but then the turbo spins and it stings you! OUCH!
Clutch and break positions, are way down low, I keep engaging the clutch too soon and breaks too late. Something to get used to.
Torque, I used to think that the Probe had no low down (1000-2000 rpm) power after driving a small turbo car, the probe has plenty of power between 1000 and 2000 rpm, so much that I keep spinning the wheels. Of course, the wrx starts to catch up after 2000 and by 3000, well if you've driven a turbo you know what i mean!
