The TRIP is the mental projection of my digital self. Including all areas of digital work I have been involved with, including Music, video, photography...
All good web pages must have the collection of absolutely useless pictures. Designed for no purpose other than to consume kilobits. And hopefully show off some of my Photographic skills. Web design skills, and uses one php script to drive the whole index. Also see the Photography section of the Silicontrip Website.
The Creative section of the TRIP is my imagination trying to run free. I have a fascination with sexual, spiritual and meta physical abilities, and these stories show it.
Part of the images directory contains some of my digital artwork. These images have been created or enhanced by myself, with the help of the 1s and 0s machine.

I said I might learn how to write a java applet, so here it is. The timetable data shown in real time for the Belgrave Lilydale train lines.
Speaking of Belgrave Lilydale line, has anyone else noticed that Connex play their advertising announcment when the train is about to leave Mitcham? Find out more about connex products and services at www.connexmelbourne.com.au Almost everytime the train passes Mitcham, does this announcment get played.
I always used to like the original automated voice that would announce train arrivals at Spencer street, many many years ago. Obviously others liked it to and the now familiar male voice is featured on every station. Good afternoon passengers, the next train to arrive on platform 10 is the four fifty six Belgrave, stopping all stations to Richmond, running express from Richmond to Boxhill, Boxhill to Blackburn, Blackburn to Mitcham, Mitcham to Ringwood, then all stations to Belgrave.
Sydney also have their own automated voice but the format for the announcements is different (obviously) which goes something like this Train arriving on platform 1 goes to, Central, next stop, Hornsby, Turramurra, Gordon, Chatwood, then all stations to Milsons Point, Wynyard then all stations to Central.
So what happens when we mix the two up... Good morning passengers, the next train to arrive on platform one is the seven forty six Central running express to Hornsby, Hornsby to Turramurra, Turramurra to Gordon, Gordon to Chatswood, then stopping all stations to Central. What I noticed here is that Sydney's train system has loops, where Melbourne's is radial. There are two ways from Hornsby to Central. So any junction crossings are mentioned in the announcements. Even though the stations are next to each other. So we'd end up with the following Sydney announcment for a Melbourne train. Train arriving on platform 1 goes to Flinders Street, next stop Bayswater, then all stations to Ringwood, Heatherdale, then all stations to BoxHill, Camberwell, Richmond, Parliament then all stations to Flinders St. compared to the Melbourne announcment for the same train. Good morning passengers, the next train to arrive on platform one is the seven eighteen city loop train, stopping all stations to box Hill, running express from Box Hill to Camberwell, Camberwell to Richmond, then all stations to Flinders St.
