Holiday Mode
I am on holiday from the 12th to the 30th of April.
Woke at 6am. Got ready and dropped a CD off at a friends. By 7:45 I was filling up near Lilydale. By 9:30 I was at Benalla, it didn't feel like 2 hours. I had done this run many times in the Probe and it always felt longer. I stopped at Jungiong for lunch. Realised how difficult it is to use the speaker on my phone while driving at 110 km/h. The noise makes it difficult to hear. By 17:00 I was on the outskirts of Sydney and trying to work out how to get to the St Leonards office. At 18:45 I was working out how to get from St Leonards office to my friends place in Homebush. After taking the wrong turn and a trip through Lane Cove, I did eventually get there.
13th April
Drove to Port Macquarie. Sat near a pier and waited for some friends to call. Walked around, took photos and got harrassed by a drunk man, who I looked straight in the eye and eventually he said sorry to me. Booked into a motel, and ate Mexican at a place called Toros. Very yummy mexican :-)
14th April Good Friday
Had Lunch in Ballina. Quater chicken and chips in the car. I didn't realise the pub next door was open. Would've rather eaten there. Drove to Mirwillumbah. Took photos of the water fountain and Tweed river. Decided it was too early to go to the retreat, Went to see if I could find somewhere to stay in Byron Bay. Which had people everywhere, a blues festival, and no where to stay. Drove to Brunswick heads, had a coffee and found no vancancy. Resigned to staying alone at the retreat, I decided one last chance and drove to Tweed heads. Saw the full moon rise. Tweed heads was further than I expected. As soon as I got there I turned around and headed to the retreat. Which also appeared to be full. Actually they hold a sweat lodge every full moon, so it was just the people for that. I saw that Greame and Annette were here for the retreat and decided to do the sweat lodge.
15th April Easter Saturday
Drove into Mirwillumbah to buy supplies for the week.
15 - 22 April Passion and Grace retreat
22nd April
Drove to Byron Bay with my new friend Helena. Booked into a holiday apartment, ate dinner at the Buddha Bar. Then drove to a dance party, where an artist by the name of OKA was playing, though I didn't have any money to buy one of their CDs. Went to the beach.
23rd April
Dropped Helena off at a friends. Drove to Brunswick heads and met up with Greame and Annette. Had a coffee and walked along the beach. Went and picked up Helena, had lunch and drove to Brisbane. Had to call Lynette and get instructions on how to get to her place.
24th April
Washed clothes. Washed Car. Ate Nandos. Lynette said she was going to a gig tonight, arranged to meet with Carla. Watched her dancing with fire. Damn, I left my camera at Lynette's. Ordered pizza. Did some kinesiology and an Osho card reading. Returned to Lynette's.
25th April Anzac Day
Drove to Red Cliff with Lynette, walked along the beach and had lunch at Hog's breath cafe.
26th April
Drove to Sydney. Had McDonalds in Kempsey. Sometimes I feel like eating McDonalds. Stayed at Helena's.
27th April
Had lunch at a cafe. Bought some paint supplies, for my airbrush and some chili spices for my tummy :-) Cooked a vegatable stir fry.
28th April
Had lunch at a place called the bahn. Went to a movie.
29th April
Drove to Melbourne.
